Sunday at Coney Island

Jazz Festival in Harlem, rooftop diner and Brooklyn boat party

»We're in Harlem brother, you know.«

Great guided tour through Harlem. The guy showed us a lot of things, which are going on in Harlem: crazy guys, who he met at the street, beautiful architecture and cool Jazz clubs from movies like »American Gangster« or »Shaft«.. He also met the director of the Apollo Theater and he invited us. So we went there and after a couple of minutes we were sitting on the stage of the Apollo Theatre.
Then it was the first situation I was afraid in NY. We went alone to Spanish Harlem. What I didn't know before that the border between the »two Harlems« is the most dangerous part in Harlem. But in this moment I noticed it: strange looking, injured guys, damaged street with only the half of blacktop and a helicopter moving in circles above our heads. Time to go! But the original Mexican food was a good reason for doing this.

Just arrived! My flat.

Everything colorful and nice! Save neighboorhood with a lot of young people, bars and shops. As of now I am a Williamsburg fan!
